CHAPTER I: DUALITY

“Duality

It’s like,
Cigarettes and coffee
It’s like
The shortness of breath
When you’re near her //
The smell of rain
Right before the storm //
Day and night
Love and fright
Doves and Ravens //
Ice and fire
Trials of pain
That bring you to see
Two different things
Existing together
One without the other
Chaos would run
Rampant //
earth and air
Fire and water
Keep it all in balance //
A woman and a man
For the first time
She gives the shadows light
Brings love, to a pain wrought heart
He is the dark
She is the light
Two different energies
Brought together
To create one entity //
It’s chaos and peace
It’s love and hate
It’s the definition of
Good and evil
From the perspective of
The human viewing
when you take the shades
Off from the face
You see the world in shades of grey
How it all comes together
Black and white
Blending, and rendering
Our earth
